I went through all 14 open findings, re-checked the site, and looked at where your traffic actually comes from. Three things matter. Everything else can wait.
1. AI visibility. Two weeks of work. You're in 2 of 4 AI answers now, up from 1. It's the only channel where you're gaining faster than your competitors, and almost none of them are working on it deliberately yet. The next steps are concrete: a Product Hunt launch (it's the gap in two of the answers you're missing) and a real guide on tracking projects without a developer, built on real before-and-after numbers from a team that switched. Nobody else has those numbers, which is the whole point.
2. Homepage speed. One week, maybe less. Your homepage takes 3.4 seconds to show its main content on a phone. Google's line is 2.5. monday.com, a direct competitor, loads in 0.9. Most of the gap is two things: a hero video that loads before anything else, and a chat widget script that blocks the page. Neither needs a redesign. This matters more than it looks, because the homepage is where your comparison page and your AI mentions send people.
3. The "database software" comparison page. Already half done. PR #15 is waiting on you. Merge it, and I'll build the same thing for "spreadsheet database hybrid," where you're sitting at #12.
What I'd deliberately not do: the Chrome extension. I know it keeps coming up. It's roughly a two-month build for a channel where you have no evidence your buyers want it. Not one of the 214 posts I read this week asked for an extension. Several asked for exactly the three things above. Ship those first; if people still ask for the extension afterwards, it'll be a much easier decision with real demand behind it.
It counts, and it's worth taking seriously. It's just not enough on its own to justify two months.
Two things I'd want to know before building it:
- Are they paying customers, or people who might become one? An extension that keeps two paying customers is worth more than one that might attract two new ones.
- What would they use it for? "Save this web page straight into a base" is a small feature: a bookmark-sized panel, a few days of work. "Turn any site I visit into a database" is a whole second product.
Here's a cheap way to find out. Add a line to the next morning email: "Would you use a Chrome extension that saves pages straight into your base? Reply yes." If more than about one in ten reply yes, build the small version. If it's two people again, you've saved two months.
In the meantime, I wouldn't move it ahead of the three above. Those are backed by what's costing you traffic today.
Done. All three are on your board, in this order:
- Launch on Product Hunt and write the project-tracking guide. I'll draft the Product Hunt page and the guide this week, for you to edit.
- Fix homepage speed. Two changes: load the hero video after the page, and defer the chat widget. I'll open a pull request for both.
- Merge PR #15, then a comparison page for "spreadsheet database hybrid." Starts as soon as #15 is merged.
I've also added the extension question to next Tuesday's morning email. You'll have real numbers on it before you decide anything.
